Terms and Conditions:

Each Applicant certifies to the best of his or her knowledge that the information submitted above is accurate. If any such application information provided is found to be false or misleading in any way, WAPO may revoke membership and deny applicant entry to any of its tournaments. If any such application information provided is found to be false or misleading in any way during any WAPO tournament, such Player, at WAPO’s sole discretion, may be ejected from such tournament without any refund of entrance fee. Such Player hereby waived any claim to any portion of prize pool to the tournament from which he or she has been ejected.

Each Applicant and Player acknowledges and agrees that it may be difficult for WAPO to determine amateur status of any individual. Each Applicant and Player hereby waives any right or claim against WAPO or any Casino Host for any claim that entrants in a WAPO hosted event should not qualify as amateurs or any claims related thereby.

Each Player acknowledges and consents to the fact that WAPO, either on its own or through designated parties, will be photographing, videotaping, filming and creating other audio and/or visual works concerning WAPO events, either before, during and after the event and that WAPO and its designees will be utilizing the work in an unlimited capacity to include, print, audio, video and retail items.

Each Player’s appearance in any WAPO event shall be considered as a “work for hire” for WAPO. As a result, WAPO shall be deemed to be the author and the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title and interest in the work and appearance of the Player. In the event that all or any part of a Player’s appearance is determined by a court not to be a “work for hire”, Player hereby assigns to WAPO all worldwide rights of every kind and nature regarding the Player’s appearance. At all times, WAPO shall have the right, on its own and through authorized third parties, to revise, edit, add or subtract from the Player’s appearance in WAPO’s sole discretion, as well as the right to combine the Player's appearance with materials furnished or created by others and to use the Player's appearance in all manner as stated above without additional approvals by Player.

Every Player is required to have a valid CAPP I.D. on them during the tournament at all times. WAPO reserves the right to view I.D. documents at any time and revoke eligibility as a certified amateur at any time.
Player consents to allowing WAPO and its executives the right to use all photos or footage that may contain Player’s image or likeness with no compensation for an unlimited period of time. WAPO reserves the right to request any player to change clothing that is offensive or not consistent with WAPO sponsors, to adjust offensive behavior. .

Each applicant agrees that in the event of any claim against WAPO the amount of damages is limited to the amount paid to WAPO.

All decisions by WAPO are at their officers’ sole discretion to be in the best interest of the casino host and WAPO.

All players must comply with all of the rules and decisions of the casino host with respect to the playing of the tournament, the accepted behavior and their tournament rules.
